I firstly applied an announcement of selection, then submitted an English test, then an aptitudinal test in English: when I passed them, I attended 1 hour of training course on the same day of the last tests. A couple of months later they sent me a small manual and a questionary form to fill and to send back. Then I was hired and had not to re-do it every year.
