Colloquio
Had the opportunity to interview with the organization’s new Chief Human Resources Officer, Lindsay Fitzgerald. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Lindsay came across as disengaged and uninterested, which unfortunately set a disappointing tone for the conversation—best summed up by saying she had the personality of a wet sock.
Her chosen interview setting didn’t help either— it was noisy and looked unprofessional. The questions themselves were standard and not particularly challenging, but what stood out most was the CHRO’s lack of knowledge about the role. When I asked about the position, there was little to no insight—no details about the systems in use, the challenges the team is facing, or the direction the role is expected to take.
In the end, I was genuinely disappointed. For an organization with such a strong reputation, I expected a much more thoughtful and professional interview experience.
Via zoom/teams with panel of manager and peers. It wasn't necessarily difficult, but there were some scripted appearing questions, as well as typical HR type questions. Some of the questioning did not appear to be related to the job or skills related to the position I applied for.
The interview was with several people asking basic questions as well as complicated scenario questions. I am only writing this so that Glassdoor will let me look at other reviews
