I was interviewed by two women who headed the phlebotomy programs at two different Intermountain hospitals. One of them was cold and jumped all over the fact that I asked about career advancement at her hospital. The interview was a little high pressure because they were only accepting so many into the program and there were two of them throwing questions at you. I feel like they were looking for people in their twenties who were pretty inexperienced and had no ambition whatsoever. Would I say Intermountain is ageist? Yeah, I would.
