After submitting my application for the role, I was contacted by HR via email asking to set up a date and time to interview within the next 5 business days. We agreed on a time and date. The HR representative called me promptly at that time only to inform me that the full time position I applied for had already been filled the day prior, and that they only have a PRN position left available if I wanted to learn more about that role. I kindly declined the offer but asked why they filled the full time position prior to interviewing all the candidates whom they had scheduled interviews with, she says they were already talking to a candidate before the job even posted. I thought it was extremely unprofessional on the Company’s part to contact me and schedule an interview only to inform me during the interview itself hat they position was no longer available.
