The recruiter who conducted the phone screen was a machine. She was talking very quickly without minding the other side absorbing what was said. If I had not kept up with listening, it would had been my lost. Too focused on listening, then I'm tripped up. In other words, she didn't allow room for interruptions even if the line caught a bad static and I didn't hear her first sentence--too bad! because she'll keep going until I didn't follow her--that was her communication style. She was robotic and does hell-of-a job keeping a poker-face. Even when she was answering my questions, she was speaking at the same speed and showed no personality and emotions. She was fast at answering but her answers were not even impressive. The interview felt like a game at who can answer the questions the fastest, and I lost because no offer on the spot to move on to the next around.
