      Colloquio

A4A "Assess-4-Awesomeness" is what they call their interview process. It's a rigorous in-depth review of one's work history and evaluation of their skillset through a step in the interview process called the "Craft Demo", whereby you are asked to accomplish a task or present on a solution to one or more problems given. Pre-interview preparation will likely be required. There will be at least two interviews, a telephone screening and main live session interview with mutiple managers. In my case there were three, which included a pre-screening. The pre-screening result was given to me within 48 hours along with either a rejection letter or moving forward. Here was my experience: 1. Email correspondence where by the recruiter collects basic information and provides details on the position and answers questions. 2. Pre-screening email with technical questions. 3. Pre-screening interview with a senior member of the organization, likely someone you might be working with. 4. If you made it this far, you are emailed some instructions on preparing for your A4A Craft Demo interview. 5. Interview day was scheduled the same day following the pre-screening interview, which was set for 3 days later. This is the amount of time that was given to me, some people get more time. For me I was only given literally two days to prepare a presentation. It consisted of 40 slides full of theoretical data and proposed solutions. I dropped everything in my life to prepare for it. All told I spent around 16 hours on, with barely enough time to do a once over rehearsal. 6. Interview Day came and it took a total of 4 hours. First part was speaking about yourself and my work history and two or three projects you're proud of, for 15-30 minutes. I took 30 minutes, followed by a 15 minute break. Second part was a 90 minute presentation. Third part consisted of 2 interviews, one with two members of the team, and one with two senior managers. All told the interviews took the full 4 hours in total. It was exhausting.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Prescreening questions were related to measuring quality, and tackling quality problems. Main interview questions were more along the same lines, however much more detailed, along with back and forth discussion on reasoning behind approaches and decisions made.
