      Colloquio per Change Manager

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Intuitive (Washington, DC) nel mese di gen 2023

      Colloquio

The interview process consisted of speaking with HR, then the hiring manager(s), then leaders from stakeholder teams you’d likely work with and a series of follow up discussions, as needed. After about two months from applying I received an offer from HR. I had follow up questions regarding the remote work component, etc. Apparently during the offer discussion, the recruiter provided some inaccurate information and one of the hiring managers contacted me separately to provide the correct details. I also asked if the company could match my current salary and another manager said that the HR team would be in contact with me the following week. The next week comes and I noticed the role was posted for on-site this time instead of remote. I didn’t think anything of it because of the offer I’d received. Another week went by and I emailed the hiring managers (who I had been told to communicate with them directly, I’m assuming because HR provided inaccurate info initially) and HR. HR reached out and informed me that they’d (hiring managers) decided to go a different direction with the role. HR was not aware that I had not been told of this decision and was apologetic. So here I am with a pending offer, new role posted and no notification of the new the direction. Although remote is my preference, I wasn’t provided the opportunity to reconsider my offer with the hiring managers prior to them reposting the job. Had I not contacted them I would not have known anything. The most disappointing piece is neither of the managers (who I had built a rapport with throughout those two months) reached out. They instead left HR (who they’d originally removed from the discussion) to deal with the aftermath, with limited knowledge of my candidacy status.
