I was invited to interview for a Scrum Master position, but once I arrived, they decided to put me through the Senior Scrum Master interview process instead. The ironic—or maybe amusing—part is that they gave me an online aptitude test that I could have easily taken from home, especially since they required the camera to be on. There was really no need for me to travel all the way from Bannerghatta to Kalyan Nagar (about 18 km). The test itself had only a little content related to Scrum and focused more on project management, estimation, and basic math problems—things like the classic “two trains traveling at different speeds” type of questions. With over 13 years of experience, I found it quite funny that they wanted to assess me based on an aptitude test like that.
