The interview process was fine - my concern was with recruitment. I spoke with the recruiter several times before interviewed with a Director (who was located in Europe). I answered a lot of questions about my experience and I thought we were on the same page. Ten minutes into a scheduled interview that was meant to last at least an hour, the interviewer basically told me that I didn't have the full amount of relevant in-plant manufacturing experience they were looking for in this role. I have no issue with her identifying that quickly in the interview - we both appreciated not wasting each other's time. But it was embarrassing to have the recruiter put me in that position. I was pretty clear that I had not worked in-plant and, honestly, I shouldn't have made it to the interview stage. I felt like I was just helping him meet his candidate numbers.
