The job description only stated "Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship." which means both U.S. citizen and permanent residents(green card holders) should be allowed to apply. But the recruiter scheduled the interview and asked if I was U.S. citizen ,and mentioned that they can't "sponsor" green card holders; when in fact green card holders don't even need sponsorship at all. The interviewer was ignorant and rude.
