I was interviewed by a three members of the ASI team, who were trying to determine if I were a good fit more than being concerned with my qualifications. I also had to pass an 1.5 hr test, which included various statistical, analytical, word-processing, and formatting tasks. What was different from other interviews was that it took almost a month after the interview for HR to get back to me and inform me that they had decided to go with someone else.

It started with a 30 min zoom call with the recruiter to explain my qualifications and learn more about the role. Then I had a 1 hour long interview with 2 seniors, this was split into 2 parts, 30 min behavioural and 30 min exercises.

Pretty simple interview process. 1 with HR, another with a member of the hiring team, case study + interview. Overall pretty straight forward and communicative, it wasn’t drawn out or anything.

Tell me about yourself, tell us about your previous research experience
Overall, the interview process was a great experience and very responsive. Communication was clear and timely at every stage. I was given a case study and asked to present my analysis, which allowed me to demonstrate both technical and presentation skills. The team was professional, supportive, and asked thoughtful questions, making the entire process engaging and insightful.
