The interview process was approximately 2 weeks in length. It was very thorough, including a phone interview, an assessment of whether I had the skills for the job, a meeting with the other Marketing employee I would be working closely with, as well as the President. While the process was longer than I am usually used to, I found myself wanting to work for the company more and more with each step.

The interview was very long (almost 2hrs). After talking through the duties I realised it wasn't a job they had posted for. It was very vague. I was left with a bad feeling because it felt like I was giving them a free consultation. I had to review one of their website product pages for SEO beforehand. The HR manager was lovely but the person I would have worked with gave the impression of being frustrated and bitter. I was turned down but it seems no one else was offered the position as they said since they reposted a week later. This is why it feels more like they were fishing for free consultations. So much work and hoops to go through only to realize they really only want to pick your brain. Tough one.
