After applying for the role on LinkedIn, the HR person reached out to me via email to complete a questionnaire. It was a relatively simple questionnaire. Upon submission, I received an invitation for a 30-minute screening call with HR. The interview process was pleasant, and the HR person was easy to talk to. Towards the end of the interview, I was told that there would be a writing test for me to complete. After that, if selected, I would have to go through two more interviews: one with the marketing lead and the final one with the CEO. The test doesn't have a deadline but I completed it in 3 days and I was told by HR that they will need 7 days to review my test. Since i didn't hear any news on the 8th day, I sent an email asking if they need more time to review my test and a couple of hours later, I received a reply saying that the position has been filled. I was perplexed, confused and upset because HR completely disregard my test as I didn't receive a single feedback about it. I emailed HR to thank for the opportunity and asked if there are specific reasons to why I didn't qualify for the role but there was no reply. I was left feeling as if my application didn't matter in the first place.
