First stage: 30 minute get to know you call - pleasant experience but felt rushed and was probably a bit too short to cover a lot and limited opportunity to ask questions. Second stage: 1 hr 30 minute slot for presentation and questions on a theoretical project. This was followed by 1 hr session of technical and behavioural questions. Finished with a lab tour of two facilities - first was a very academic environment that was cluttered and disorganised with beg, stolen and borrowed, old equipment. Second site was a new facility set up in a former kitchen show room. Overall the people were nice but very busy. I was made to feel at ease and interview experience was generally good, however despite getting to the final stage with a limited number of other candidates I was completely ghosted despite multiple requests for feedback through recruiter and directly.
