I had a quick phone interview with their HR person at headquarters in MN. I was then was brought in for an in-person interview in the DC office with two separate managers in the office. Everyone I talked to was very nice and personable and made the position sound like a lot of fun. After the in-person interview I followed up with someone in the DC office and the HR person in MN and received no response about getting or not getting the job.

Applied through indeed and went through 5 interviews. First one was a generic phone screening. The second was an in person interview where I immediately had to sit down and document my salary history and answer other personal questions, then followed with an interview with the manager. The third was an interview with the training manager. The fourth interview was a working interview that lasted about an hour and a half, which kind of annoyed me because I wasn’t expecting to be taking notes and quizzes on a position I was still trying out for. I then had to do a mock phone call interview, which the manager forgot about, after I reserved that morning and practiced for. The manager then asked me for references, whom they never called. This entire process lasted about 6 weeks. They didn’t even have the decency to follow up with me. I ended up getting another job, and I am so glad I didn’t hear from them. What a waste of time, I can only imagine how working for them would be like.

Phone Interview followed by 1:1 in-person interview.
The phone interview was great, I could tell she was just filtering out applicants, but I had the skills and made the cut. We scheduled the 1:1 interview for the following week.
My 1:1 interview was pretty ridiculous. I arrived 20 minutes early and had to fill out an application, which took 30 minutes. Some of the questions asked were dated and inappropriate, such as who paid for my college education and what my high school activities were and how many people in my graduating class. Once we started the 1:1 interview, I felt the interviewer, who was the same as on my phone screen, was talking down to me and in an incredibly loud voice (and I am a rather loud person). I wasn't signing up for a sales position, but I heard a lot about quotas--and basically there was nowhere to move around in the company except sales. The final question was one of those obvious "I'm so not going to hire you" questions, which was "What is your favorite city and why?" Please.
Office environment was open and loud, blasting pop music and everyone looked exactly the same. If they would have called back, I would have declined.

Domanda 1
Who paid for your college? It was on the application form, and so inappropriate.
