I went to the store and asked for an application, filled it out and left. The hiring manager was out so i called after a few days to make sure it was received. They called and scheduled a time for me to come and then they looked over my application and asked questions.

Interview was conducted by the manager who was very friendly and bubbly in the back of the store. Asked to tell her about myself and why I would be a good fit. Asked for my availability especially for black Friday, Christmas ve and Christmas day as well as New year's eve and New year's day. Was professional and casual at the same time. Very relaxed and felt more like a conversation than an interview.

Overall it was an easy process. The interview lasted about 30 min and it was mostly conversational with a few typical interview questions. The interview took place in the mall hallway, but was a quiet cozy corner so it never felt uncomfortable.
