I was very nervous since this was my first job interview ever! However, Mr. Paul Tressler, the store manager, put me at ease immediately with a soft, kind voice and a smile.

It was overall an easy interview. In a group setting of interviewees, we were asked to each talk about what we thought good customer service was. Then, we had some blocks to build a structure, a house I remember. Without the person you were instructing being able to see the blueprint, you had to describe what to do with the blocks without touching the blocks. I didn't know how I did, but I got hired. This was the holidays of 2017. :)

I got a phone call to schedule an interview, which was quick and convenient. In the interview, one of the managers asked me star scenario questions and asked why I wanted to work for JCP. At the end of the interview, I got an offer.

STAR questions, and Why do you want to work for JCPenney?
Questions about school, work ethic, etc. suited for entry level. Easy interview, no discussion of salary, just of potential hours/etc, and also holdiday availability like on Christmas and Black Friday and thanksgiving. Easy interview
