This was the most disrespectful interview process I’ve ever been through. The interviewer would call at random times and expect an interview then. He asked whether I had children and if I had childcare. I was invited in for an interview (in the middle of a pandemic) and I went. I was given a Word, Excel, and PowerPoint test. I took the tests and expected to meet with the interviewer. He didn’t even stop by to introduce himself. I went home. He randomly called me and asked the most off-the-wall, non-job related questions. He couldn’t nail down salary for me. The position lends itself to remote work, yet he requires you to be in the office, no matter what. Even after going through all that, he didn’t even dignify me with an answer when I asked about next steps. Interviewer was rude and self-important and I don’t think I would have stayed in this position for long had I been offered it.
