I Interviewed with the recruiter, she was impressed with my qualifications and moved me to the next step of the interview process.
I went for a 2nd interview process with the Regional Integrations Manager and he felt I was a strong candidate for the position. I was assigned a case study project that had to be completed within a week.
After completing the case study project, I heard back from the recruiter stating that they were impressed with the results of my case study and I would be moving forward to the next interview process.
I was scheduled for a final interview with 4 internal employees to determine if I would be a good fit for the role. After completing my final interview, I heard back from the recruiter explaining that they've decided to go with a different candidate.

It is OK to tell candidates are not a good fit for the positions after the final round interview, but not getting updates or responses from HR is not respectful to candidates who ask about interview results. Interviewers are nice.
