Once I had submitted my portfolio, cover letter, and resume, I exchanged emails with Melanie (HR) a few times back and forth. These were just interest questions, scheduling times to talk on the phone, and planning a time for an in person interview. In person we chatted for around an hour about my previous project and education experience, the job requirements, and then any questions. After that, Melanie was in touch just about every week for 3 weeks until I received a call followed by an offer letter.
