I was contacted by a recruiter then a couple days later a in person interview was scheduled. I was told that I would be interviewing with 2 people and given their names. Instead of those two people, I was interviewed by two groups of people 30 minutes each. I felt caught off guard. My education was questioned to the point of me thinking they were asking me questions to see if I had lied. There was even an inappropriate comment that was made during the interview that should have never been made when interviewing someone. The second group was not prepared whatsoever. I received no communication after the interview and I was actually happy about that.

Recruiter did a phone screening, then proceeded to phone interview with two people on the project team. They liked me well enough to ask for a face-to-face interview. The project team were very impulsive when it came to scheduling the face-to-face interview. They wanted me to come in immediately and there was no respect for scheduling. After I explained I needed to schedule based on my availability (within the next week) and not as soon as possible, they proceeded to say they changed their mind.

This process took about 2 weeks. There was phone interview with a recruiter and then I bought in to an interview at the client site. The recruiter said the interview would be with two individuals. When I arrived I actually had TWO interviews back to back with a panel of three people in each interview. I don't think I mentally prepared for that type of pressure. I felt bamboozled.
I ended up not getting an offer. I had to follow up because I hadn't heard back. The recruiter let me know I was not a good fit. I then asked for feedback on the interview so that I could know what areas I need to improve and I got NO response.
Candidates really appreciate it when you follow up with them following an interview--whether they got the job or not.
