Overall I enjoyed my conversations and felt excited about the opportunity until I made it through the final interview stage and did not receive any closure from the company. I had to reach out and specifically ask if they had made a decision, only to be responded to very impersonally and informed that I was not selected.

Submitted my application online and was called by an in-house recruiter a couple weeks later. Had a conversational interview about my background and qualifications with the recruiter, a week later had a more formal group call with the department, and a week after that had an in-person interview where I met 1:1 with HR and the department. Overall, a very positive experience. JL's application process is refreshingly more relaxed and transparent than certain other large food manufacturers in the area.
