Jaga was looking to hire a product developer that would help them tackle new grounds as part of their strategic objectives: diversify their markets by reframing their new and existing collection as interior design products, not just as highly advanced technical heating components for an installer market. The kick-off that led to the job offer and interview was the license for a new product concept by designer Joris Laarman. In order to develop and implement this product into new markets, they went looking for someone who could usher this revolutionary product through a rather traditional industrial pipeline. I was invited to the job interview since I worked for many years for Studio Joris Laarman. The procedure was short and intense; presenting and motivating in front of a senior mgmt panel.
