Pretty shady interview process. I was given an extensive take-home right out the gate without even scheduling a one-on-one intro call. Before continuing with the interview process I emailed the CTO with my desired compensation. Received an email a couple of minutes later stating that the range for the role was slightly lower than my desired comp. I liked the product so I continued with the interview process. 5 weeks later I received an offer that was significantly lower than the base range specified in the reply email. I was extremely disappointed. The fact that they would assign such an extensive take home plus the dishonest communication regarding salary leads me to the conclusion that they do not respect candidates' time. Could be a great company, not sure but definitely a bad expereince.
