Interviewer was late. Area Manager new to position. I listened to Area Manager complain about the prior managers. Explained processes he implemented and micro-management he seems to relish. Hierarchy is management style and follow chain of command. Closed door policies. I drove their projects and saw what I would describe and very unsafe and disorganized. There were many people on the projects yet the projects were unsafe and filthy. Muddy conditions on feeder roads and nobody was cleaning. Lots of equipment and looked like the equipment has been crash derby. Manager exited truck and didn't have on safety gear. Met a project manager and his eyes looked like he was on prescription pills and couldn't make eye contact.
