I had a really good initial phone screen and then got invited to fill out my availability in order to progress to a next step interview. I did this and never got a response back from the hiring team confirming their own availability, and then about a week later I got an automated rejection. I know there's a high volume of applicants but it was still pretty disappointing to be told I'm progressing forward, asked for my availability, and then rejected before even getting to proceed to that next step.

The company primarily targets enterprise customers, educational institutions, and government agencies.

The interview process consisted of three rounds: recruiter phone screen, 30-minute interview with the manager, and then a 90-minute technical interview with a panel. For the technical interview we went over my experience and previous projects in detail and they asked culture-match questions. The last half of the interview involved some live coding. Everything was pretty straightforward, and they were very transparent about the whole interview process. Everyone I interviewed with was super nice.
