Relatively quick 20-minute sit down with the manager at one of the tables out front. The interview did take place in front of / within earshot of the team working behind the counter, which was slightly nerve racking, but overall painless and informal.

Manager asked general questions about experience in food/customer service, and about my schedule/availability in relation to store's current needs. One behavioral question related to handling conflict as part of a team.
Easy and very kind. They give you plenty of space to explain what you are looking for and are very transparent. They make sure you are comfortable and have any questions.
