Perform an online recording to see if personality fits company culture. Afterwards, a background check was performed and I met with the HR to agree on salary and benefits. It was then followed up with an in person review with the laboratory manager.

Met with the HR department, who gave an overview of the institution. Took me to the department where the interview was to take place, and introduced me to the supervisor. Had a tour of the work area, met the staff, and was given the opportunity to ask as many questions as I had. Never felt intimidated or pressured.
