the recruiter called me and said it would be almost instantly that the hiring manager had asked for me specifically, and that it should be a short time before I was hired. I was working for them as a temporary employee. My contract assignment ended, the recruiter never told me any further steps and I could not reach the recruiter by phone or email, after having left him 4 messages. No response at all.
