Judith & Charles – Misleading Salary Negotiation and Unprofessional Handling I went through three rounds of interviews at Judith & Charles but ultimately declined the job offer due to the unprofessional handling by management. Salary Expectation Not Addressed Until the Final Round – I clearly stated my expected salary in my application. Throughout the first two interview rounds, nobody mentioned that my request was beyond their budget. However, in the final round, I was given an offer significantly lower than what I had requested. Unprofessional Response to Negotiation – I politely asked if there was room for a small adjustment (only $0.55 more per hour), but the hiring manager responded rudely and unprofessionally, even attempting to gaslight me into thinking my request was unreasonable. Lack of Transparency and Respect – If they knew my salary request was too high, they should have addressed it earlier instead of wasting my time with multiple interviews. Additionally, a professional company should be able to decline a negotiation request respectfully, rather than responding in a dismissive manner. Given this poor experience, I can understand why the company has a high turnover rate. I declined the offer and found a better opportunity elsewhere. If this is how they treat candidates before hiring, I can only imagine how they treat employees.
