I applied online using Jobr and was reached out to by email. First, there was a phone call with the CEO, followed by an on-site meeting with the VP of Product, and finally an on-site interview with the CEO. I received an offer, and accepted the offer the following week. The CEO does not respond for 2 days until I check in again. He responds with a generic rejection email that they will not be moving on with the hire (this was less than a week after I received the offer). Only until I schedule another time to speak with the CEO does he tell me he pulled the offer because new hires that (this role with be working with directly) influenced him to. A CEO that shows such poor communication, is easily influenced by new hires, and didn't know what he should've been looking for when hiring for this role is not a CEO that I'd want to work for.
