Interview consisted of a group panel presentation followed by all candidates being split up to interview with individual recruiters. Those who had references were picked first for interviews. I am fully beginning to realize the large role that office politics plays within this company. It seems that the vast majority of people working there were only hired because they were friends/family/buddies of currently staffed employees. This hiring practice although discriminatory in nature is not illegal but it certainly is bad business ethics and will eventually lead to a high turnover rate. I reviewed many employee profiles on LinkedIn who held the job title that I interviewed for and was consequently disqualified from and my qualifications exceeded over 70% of the applicants who secured the job in both 1) quality of education and 2) relevant work experience. Hiring close friends and family does not diversify the workplace and violates any claim of being an Equal Opportunity Employer. K12 really is managed by amateur, unprofessional employees and it seems more and more evident that employees are not satisfied with how the company is managed. I believe that Corporate should terminate many of those currently staffed in management positions, especially those in the recruiting department.
Quick and easy! You receive an email to continue to a website/ app. Then you answer timed questions and record yourself. Then the company reviews it and gets back to you.

I was sent an email about 5 days after applying online. The email requested I engage in HireVue which is a digital interview website. Questions appear on the page and you respond to them. You are given time to think between questions. There were about 7 of them and not all were recorded video. You were given 2 opportunities to record yourself for each verbally answered question. I have done HireVue interviews before and I always try to look my best, speak in to the camera, and share my background to the best of my ability. I think people need to remember that when interviewing in this capacity.
About 2 days after I submitted my video I was sent another HireVue, with "Recommended for Hire" in the title. I followed the link and had the option of accepting or declining. However, no other information was given about the role, pay, or hours. About 2 days after accepting the offer, I received an email with all of the information listed. I did speak on the phone with the recruiter. She was very polite, answered my questions about the role and company, and what to expect. Even with the poor reviews, I feel accepting this position is the right choice and hope it opens the door for greater opportunities more in line with my career goals.
I gave the overall experience a "No Opinion" rating because it was such a weird way to be hired. No real human interaction until I called.

It was a pre-recorded job interview where you would record your answers and send them back, typically they have in person hiring events as well held throughout the year. They typically push for hiring between June and August
