The recruiter arranged the phone screen. The group was looking for candidates with machine learning and image processing background. The interviewer asked my research experiences, and if I had these skills and related research experience, and also how many lines of code I wrote. The interviewer then told me directly that he/she didn't think I was valuable to their team, which was quite rude for an interview.

Project interview with hiring manger. Talked about recent projects with focus on deep learning and GenAI. Then asked to deep dive into one project with technical details. At the end asked some behavioral questions.
