The interview process included several steps. Its website says 8 steps. After submitting resume, HR immediately contacted me, and set up a phone interview which would be in 6 days. The hiring manager invited me for an onsite interview. These steps were super easy as my qualifications perfectly met its requirement. 10 days later, I went to its campus in Milpitas, CA for the onsite interview. I was required to give a presentation about my work experience, and my previous research. The committee included 6 people (production director, research scientists, and HR). After the presentation and interviews, I received a positive feedback, and they promised to keep me informed within a week. After 1 week, I actively sent 2 emails to hiring manager and recruiter to kindly ask about the result. The hiring manager did not respond. I think it would be impolite to not reply such an inquiry about the result of a hiring process. Later, the recruiter replied and promised to give me an update a week later. And an automatically-sent email about the result arrived my inbox at the weekend. The hiring process was generally professional as it includes several steps from phone screening to onsite interview, and making offer. However, the unprofessionalism of how they kept the candidate updated about the result should not exist in this multinational company.
