I got a call from HR and had initial discussion about the work and my expectations regarding the work and CTC. After we agreed upon some X amount of Fixed + Others, HR scheduled my interview. There were 4 rounds of virtual discussions/interview and feedback given to me was exciting. And then comes the salary part. So as per discussion before the interview X amount was asked from the employer but HR seems to be not fulfilling promises made by HR himself/herself. And then they started making excuses about Covid-19, started saying that a particular round didn't go well (which was exciting before the salary discussion). And then they didn't show up for few weeks. I called the HR one day and then funny part is that they started asking me for 0.75X fixed part to work out the offer. I said No. Recommendations from my side: they are looking for excellent engineers with NO MONEY. What they were trying to offer me was way less than my current CTC. I am working in a far better company than KLA. Totally immature company. I wasted my 1 month or so. Don't waste yours.
