I was introduced by a recruiter, the process entailed a phone screening, and a personal interview with the head of the department, HR manager, and the head of RD. Friendly talk, no serious coding questions or similar. Interview was more about your fit than your technical abilities. No technical questions. To my knowledge, that changed recently to a more serious process.
