I applied for this position im Berlin because I'm native Serbian speaker, and because I have vast experience in accountancy, and also right to work in Berlin. Nevertheless, I got scheduled for the first interview by phone, the questions were rather generic, and bland, like the recruiter wanted me just to read my CV. I swear that there were not any real questions. She said that they would get back to me in two weeks max (which is quite a lot). After a week and a half, I politely asked if there are any news regarding my application, and there was again just generic "we're still screening". After the two weeks have passed I got the same, you would guess, generic response that they won't be proceeding with my application, without any reason whatsoever. I hardly doubt that there are so many Serbian speaking accountants in Berlin, so I asked what is the main reason for not proceeding even to the second round (where they could meet me for real and then decide if I were a good fit), but all I got was another bland and generic response. It is quite obvious that they will pass any candidate outside of Germany, even if they don't need visa or so. I'm hardly disappointed for this company, and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
