Short call with a recruiter followed a few days later with hiring manager. Things seemed to be moving along quickly up until that point. I was told they would update me within a week-ish. Fast forward 3 weeks and I haven't heard a peep from either the recruiter or the hiring manager. Sent follow up emails inquiring about next steps and heard nothing back. I did not get "this is the best place you'll ever work" vibes during these calls, more along the lines of "yeah you'll understand when you see it. We make things work". Advice to management: Step up your interview strategy and follow through or you're going to just scare talented HR professionals away when they see the chaos you're asking them to consider joining firsthand.
