Ghosted following application. Having put in hours into company research and CV updating - I did not even get a generic rejection. However a Co - Founder at the company had time to check me out on LinkedIn.
Setting up a generic "your not a fit" email takes 10 minutes on most career management tools and engaging with an applicant is basic manners.
You are absolutely right, this was my mistake entirely. I know it’s very frustrating not to hear anything back after putting in the effort into an application. That should not have happened. I misconfigured this job opening, which is why you didn't receive an update. My apologies; I will make sure this doesn't happen again.
