I sailed through the first interview, which was a preliminary phone call with a recruiter. I was an extremely good fit--exceedingly qualified, close to the location I'd be working at, and the pay range was acceptable. He set up a second interview a week later, and I spent all the time in the world preparing for it, only to be told via email 10 minutes beforehand that the interview was cancelled as they decided to move forward with another candidate. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. You can find a position with a company that actually prioritizes the time of its candidates.
