      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Kforce (Hartford, CT) nel mese di feb 2018

      Colloquio

I've been looking for a new job for about a year on and off. One of my friends gave me contact information for a recruiter who placed my friend in a great position with a company and I was hoping to get into that company too. After speaking to the recruiter over the phone, she told me that while there are no current positions with said company, she felt my background and experience would work well with Kforce! She set me up with a different recruiter, a woman who recruits for in-house positions. That recruiter scheduled me for an interview as a Client Relation Associate. I drove to one of their offices and as I pulled into the parking lot, the recruiter called to tell me that the managers had a last-minute meeting at another office about an hour away. She gave me the option of meeting with a few managers at the location I had just driven about 45 minutes to or to drive to the other location and meet with the hiring managers who I eventually would need to meet with anyway. I had time to kill and I understand that sometimes there are miscommunications so I decided to drive to the other location. The interview went REALLY well. I was nervous, but the people I met with made me feel extremely comfortable and at-ease. I met with three different managers and about five different team members who I seemed to hit it off with! The managers asked me more get-to-know-you questions, not typical interview questions. I feel like they wanted to see if my background and personality would fit the position and company culture. After meeting with everyone, the first woman I spoke to came back and told me that after some thought she thinks I'll be a great candidate for their VMO Recruiter role instead. The pay is a little lower than expected (about $5,000 less base pay than originally promised) but the position does sound like a better fit. I was contacted about 5 days later for a final interview. I met with another hiring manager who asked a few more questions (more interview-type questions, less get-to-know-you) and was told that I would hear back within a week or two. A week later, my recruiter called to let me know that I got the job! While the experience wasn't 100% awesome because of the miscommunication on where I should be meeting with the hiring managers and the position I was offered pays lower than expected, I believe that overall it wasn't bad at all. And of course, since I got the job, I'm thrilled! I'm looking forward to working with Kforce and moving up in the company!
