I was approached by a recruiter and had a short call with him, then an interview with the hiring manager. During that interview, he asked me one question about one project on my CV and suggested we end the call early because this interview was "clearly a waste of both of our time." He could not articulate what he had learned from our conversation that indicated that I was so egregiously underqualified apart from that my experience was not "rigorous" enough, whatever that means. He said he wanted more than 2 years of experience, but I have been in my current role for over 3 years and in this industry for over six, as described in my CV which he had presumably reviewed prior to inviting me to interview. He was incredibly dismissive, insulting and rude and I would never in a million years dream of working there.
