Talked on the phone with an HR rep for about 30-45 minutes. I had previous experience in various manual labor positions with another construction company which made it easy to talk about understanding the work conditions and how project sites work. I also had interned the previous summer with a VC so I could talk about the financial side of business. After talking they said they didn't need an in person interview and offered me a spot.

It was pretty simple for me. I had a reference from someone who currently worked at Kiewit. I had a foot in the door because of this. I can't really speak on how difficult it would be if I didn't know someone who worked there.

The person who attended the interview was late to the interview, I did not interview with who I was told I'd be interviewing with, and was ghosted after the interview, did not even receive a rejection email.

One on one interview with recruiter for about 20 minutes. I was asked weird questions about work place safety even though was applying for a finance role. Was scheduled for a second round but never got back to me.
