The process was extremely long and very drawn out. I applied, had 2 screening calls, first with HR and then with GM and ADOS. By the time they wanted to set up a face to face, I had already accepted another position. I get choosing carefully, but timeliness has it virtues too.

Phone interviewed with the Director of Sales the in person interview with the Director of Sales then an in person interview with each General Manager over the hotels I would manage. This was probably the most fun interview process I've ever had. Kimpton looks for personality to fit their brand over skill; they look for traits that align with the company's goal over being the most qualified for the position. My colorful resume got me the interview (I changed it just for Kimpton to stand out) and I let my personality shine through over harping on my ability to complete the duties. I got the job very quickly after meeting all the decision makers. The most fun question was about my predictions for the S7 Game of Thrones season finale.
