      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Kinsley Power Systems nel mese di set 2014

      Colloquio

      After applying on-line I had a phone interview with an internal recruiter. (Took several atemps to have phone interview as the HR person wasn't able to call at set time.) Typical interview with HR. When describing the job responsibilities the HR person gave me incorrect information. Second step was to have a phone interview with hiring manager. Conversation didn't start out that well because I was off on the products I would be selling. Was able to get past that but still never good to start off not knowing what I would be selling. (Again HR person gave me wrong info). After being told that the next step was a face to face I would be contacted in 2 weeks. I tried several times to follow up with the recruiter both by phone and by email with no luck. After 3 weeks I sent an email to hiring manager. Two days later I got a form letter by email stating I would not be continuing on in the process. (I was told by the hiring manager to only contact HR during this process. I only contacted the hiring manager after several attempts trying to contact HR) Very unprofessional process in my opinion. In this market they have all of the power but it speaks to the type of company they would be to work for.

      The HR department at Kinsley is aimed at finding the right person and fit for the company that shares our Core Values of: Do the Right Thing, Uncompromising Excellence, Pride and Ownership, Team Focused and Growth Oriented. This is the top priority of HR and our hiring managers, even more important than previous experience and skillset. During the interview process for our sales positions, we explain the different divisions within the sales department, their functions and how they work as a team to determine an applicant’s potential fit within our structure. We are in a technical sales niche and have divided up the responsibilities to better match the needs of our different end-users. We understand that there is a lot of information shared and can see the opportunity for miscommunication. Our interview process is very thorough; we make every effort to explain that our process can take several weeks or more, depending on the varied schedules of the hiring managers. Again, we are focused on finding the right person for the company and the position and will invest as much time and resources necessary to ensure the right fit. We strive to ensure that every candidate is contacted - whether selected or not - and feel it is part of treating all people with the respect and courtesy they deserve. The timing of our final communication is highly contingent upon the hiring process detailed above and may at times be longer than a candidate anticipates.
