I used a staffing agency. Before attending the first interview I was asked to perform a Microsoft aptitude and typing test. Upon arriving at the first interview I was asked to take a typing test and a proofreading test. Both were taken in a private room and you had plenty of time. You could also retake each test as needed. You had to pass based on Kirkland's minimum requirements before proceeding with the interview. The first interview was a with a hiring manager, who asked pretty straight-forward, typical questions for about a half hour. About two weeks later, I was asked to return for a second interview, with the Practice Services Manager (easy, just chatting about the position) and then the Practice Services Director (harder, more in depth, experience questions). I received an offer 24 hours after the second interview.

It was a wonderful multi-stage process. The first stage was a phone interview with a recruiter. The second stage was two interviews via zoom with a PA Manager and Associate Director PA. Within that same week, I received an offer and completed a grammar assessment. The interview process was smooth, organized and each individual promptly answered my questions with direct answers. They were all so wonderful and very nice as well as friendly.
