You submit an online application, and eventually they'll call you in for an interview. The turnover rate is extremely high within the company, so they're constantly hiring. They never remove that "we're hiring now" sign outside of their doors, and even today, I still see them advertising positions (for part-time sales associates despite the fact that they will saddle you with up to 40 hours a week) online. It's a standard, pretty informal interview, and they offered me the job immediately once it was finished. The HR person was nice, but her personality belies that actual atmosphere you can expect when working there.
