Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Kohl's (Columbia, SC)
Colloquio
This was a very usual and straightforward process. I was asked general LP questions like the apprehension steps and internal theft methods. Overall, quick and painless and not done in a panel.

Most of the questions were generic questions like what would you do in this situation.

Obtained phone interview quickly, went well. Keep in mind I am currently employed as a full time General Manager. I was asked at 4PM if I could make an interview the next morning at 9AM. I told them due to scheduling conflicts at my current employer, I would like to have a bit more of a heads up so I could get my store covered, which I believe was the professional approach? Since then, I have e-mailed and called the two people who contacted me, and will not call or email back. That's fine though, my wife just spent her last $800 dollars with them. Very unprofessional.

What was the most difficult decision you ever had to make as a loss Prevention associate?

I found out about the Loss Prevention opening from a friend who already worked at the store. When I went in to apply I thought it was odd that Kohl's still used paper applications opposed to electronic. The application I filled out was a general application just like you were applying for any job. I turned it in and within the week had a call from the store manager asking to set up an interview. We met and he used a generic interview guide. After that interview he told me he thought I would be a good fit and wanted to move on to the next step. 2 days later I had an interview with the Area Loss Prevention Manager. This interview was not a formal interview at all. He didn't have a guide or even fill anything out. He asked me questions about myself, why I wanted to get in this field, did I have experience, etc. He then asked a few scenario questions about how I would handle a shoplifter getting in my face, what would I do if I saw an employee taking items, and questions like that.

If a customer returned a Dyson Vacuum that was damaged, and while doing your damaged audit discovered that it was fully functional, would you go ahead and damage it out and throw it away since it had already been recorded as damaged, or would you mark it down and try to sell it to get something for the unit.
