Tel chat. Not quite sure why I was shortlisted for the call. It wasn't the same job I had applied for so; 1. wasted my time firing up my tablet to have said role viewable during; 2. this was only disclosed to me when I was asked how long I had worked in the finance sector for... then it was mentioned that I probably didn't hold the 'finance industry' background length of time the hiring manager would presumably want, so I queried where that was stipulated on the job spec'... only to learn the call was for another EA role (not Exec Search, rather Finance). The one I applied for didn't state that I needed 'Exec Search' experience either, hence the reason I applied was because I hold all of the criteria they stipulated. So, in effect I hold neither length of time in said industries - which they could have deduced from my clear, concise, effectively formatted for ease of reading... resume'.
