Formal chat with a manager and 2 engineers, very intent on the work they do and the skills required for the job. A short test is produced, some verbal situational awareness questions are asked. Followed by a brief tour of the small facility. Got the impression unless you knew exactly what the answers were to the technical questions then they are simply not interested. However, if you know their sort of work in depth, you can do much better than this company. Also, while there is room to grow, it seems that it would take a long time (~3-4 years for position change) and the pay is much lower than expected in this sector (5k lower).
